The designer will be in Colombia to recive honorary designation by the colombian president Juan Manuel Santos for his contribution to international fashion field. The date will be May 31 and He also is going to do a conference at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University for those who want to know about his experiences. He is the most importante guest in the celebration of the thwenty five aniversary of Colombiamoda in 2013.

The designer is one of the emerging promises of the fashion world. In 2001 he started his first clothing line and presented his women clothing collection in Paris fashion week in March 2001. Since there he has drawn attention for his unique style and how he use fabrics in his designs. The juxtapositions of forms and colors combinations are his emblematic sign. It´s success has become such that he has been mencionated by Karl Lagerferd as his ideal successor in Chanel and he had designed clothing for famous actresses and celebrities like Tilsa Swinton ( who he shares a great bond and is his muse) and Penelope Cruz. Vogue chose his designs in the 2010 most sold edition which the model was Lady Gaga.
Auntumn- Winter 2012-2013 Paris Fashion Week

In Paris Fashion Week he presented his autumn- winter collection which the results were textures and structures where it was appreciated the peplum jackets, skirts and trousers with high waits. There were military aesthetic and urban coats and the emphasis was on the collars and lapels. The mix of colors in a simple look without losing cohesion allowed not only see a dinamic colecction but full of glamour.
All I have to say is that those who are in Bogota for that time and want to know about this amazing designer have to go!. Unfortunately i´m going to give a conference so i can go, which make me really sad :(
