Colombiamoda 2012 is back!

For all the readers who love fashion and are in Colombia, especially in Medellín (or are going to be) I bring you the information of the most important event of the city and the country. COLOMBIAMODA 2012!

For those who don´t know, Colombiamoda is one of the most important fashion shows of the country where we can see the season trends from Clothing to Jewelry. Besides the usual fashion shows and expositions  we also are going to find conferences  for all people who are training and who are interested in fashion and culture. The best about it: They are free and they are run by national and foreign experts. 

XXII version of Colombiamoda 2011 was a resounding success and convened rising designers from Colombia and worldwide. Among the most important presentations were found Agua Bendita (http://www.aguabendita.com.co/), a Colombian swimwear brand created by Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza who have revolutionized the industry worldwide appearing on the internationals covers as Latino american Vogue, Sports Illustrated, Maxim, Glamour, Bazaar and others important magazines.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Spanish designer with a surreal and creative sense where the strong  and bright colors flooding in her collections with hints of shapes such as hearts and clouds, which are her trademark.

The brand Leimotiv - the duo made up of Colombian Juan Caro and Italian Fabio Sasso- closed with success Colombiamoda 2011 version which they showcased their designs inspired by art, urban movement, music and the theater. They showed printed garments with cotton fabrics and fresh materials in beige and browns shades  which are the referents colors of the brand.

The twenty- third edition of Colombiamoda 2012 will be held on 24, 25 and 26 July in Plaza mayor in Medellín. If you want to obtain a 55% of discount you must register in the website and pay before 19 July. To access to fashion shows you should be aware who are going to be the designers who are going to be present because they are the only who one that can give you a pass to the fashion runway.
